Cristina Córdova is an award-winning ceramic artist from Puerto Rico, specializing in figurative sculptures that combine ceramic construction techniques with traditional modeling. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in her home country, she pursued a Master of Fine Arts in Ceramics from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University.

From a young age, sculpture has been the medium of Cristina’s creativity due to its ability to express movement and body language. Her recognitions include two American Craft Council Emerging Artist Grants, several International Association of Art Critics Awards, and a three-year artist residency program at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina, where she is now based.
